In the monsoon of 2016, the humidity inside the shelter houses was not kept under check, which resulted in a disease outbreak. The mortality, the vaccination, and the cleansing process cost the company almost Rs3, 70,000 per 1,00,000 chicken/day. The quality of the eggs (weak egg shells) was altered; an entire shipment worth almost INR 11, 86,000 were lost. If the chicken falls prey to any kind of disease. There is a decrease in egg count, which in turn results in the loss, as the company fails to meet the customer demand.
